Windows 10 20H1 Insider Build 18985 This latest build includes an improved and streamlined Bluetooth pairing experience for supported devices. If a device is nearby you’ll get a notification to start pairing. This is instead of going through all the screens in Bluetooth Settings. Microsoft is improving the optional update experience, too. Head to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View optional updates where you will see updates for drivers, non-security quality updates, and drivers....

Windows 10 20H1 Build 18922 Improvements to Language Settings includes a new overview section that lets you view your settings at a glance. The team has also reorganized the language features install page with added tooltips and descriptions. The Feedback Hub is also getting a new “Find Similar Feedback” section. This allows you to find out if there is similar feedback to your own while submitting it. You can also link your feedback to that existing feedback from other users....

Windows 10 20H1 Preview Build 18950 Snip & Sketch improvements include a new single windows mode, a zoom feature, and improved discoverability. Based on Insider feedback, Japanese IME improvements include key customizations. Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar and Brandon LeBlanc write: “We’ve updated the default assigned value of Ctrl + Space to be “None”. Ctrl + Space can still be used for toggling IME-on/off by changing the value through its setting.”...

Windows 10 Insider Build 20190 This build includes a new post-update experience: Here is the list of fixes included in today’s new build: We fixed a Windows Subsystem for Linux 1 related error that would output: ‘The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request’. Please see this Github issue for details.We fixed an issue that could result in explorer.exe being unresponsive on touch-capable devices after resuming from hibernation....

Here is the list of fixes included in today’s latest new build: We’ve fixed an issue where some Microsoft Store games protected by Easy Anti-Cheat failed to launch. Some games may still need to release an update to fully resolve the issue.We fixed an issue where the IME mode indicator in the taskbar was indicating that the IME was enabled when it was actually in disabled state.We fixed an issue in the last few flights resulting in HDR monitors appearing black when HDR was enabled....

Windows 10 Build 21364 The WSL in build 21364 includes a preview of support for GUI apps. You can run your favorite GUI editors, tools, and applications for testing. For more, you can watch the following video.  There are also Task Manager improvements for Edge which support process classification. This can help you identify resource consumption issues with Edge. Microsoft Rewrites Paint for Windows 10 Earlier this year, leaks previewing universal versions of apps such as Notepad and Paint started appearing on the Windows Store. Many users were anticipating the updates would become available with the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Windows 10 Redstone Preview Build 11099 Microsoft exec Gabe Aul notes on his blog post that as with previous Insider Build 11082, there aren’t any noticeable changes or features yet. The AT&T press release announces an official price for the Nokia Lumia 920 – the smartphone costs $99 with a two-year contract. DNSCrypt is an additional service layered on top of OpenDNS that helps protect against vulnerabilities presented by “DNS leaks.” It does so by encrypting DNS traffic to ensure that it can’t be intercepted by a hacker or a man-in-the-middle. Just wanted to give a shout out today to OpenOffice.org! I just grabbed a copy of the new OpenOffice.org 3.0 Beta released 5/7 onto my MAC PowerBook now that it supports MAC OS X Natively.
