The British Phonographic Industry, quoted by the BBC, said this sort of site destroys jobs in the UK and “undermine investments in new artists”. Five internet providers in the UK will all disallow the use of the site to their users including Sky, Everything Everywhere, TalkTalk, O2 and Virgin Media.
