Tonight Microsoft released an update for Office 2010 Beta KB980028. The update includes downloads for both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Office 2010 and includes several updates and performance improvements for Word 2010. Here’s the rundown directly from the KB Article: Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements. This update also fixes a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2010 Beta in which the size of an e-mail message is unexpectedly large. For example, if you send yourself a blank e-mail message, the HTML source of the message contains many entries under /*List Definitions */ even though there are no lists in the message. The list definitions cause the message size to increase unexpectedly. I was “hoping” a fix would be released soon for Outlook 2010 to fix the notorious Email Bomb issue that’s just driving me CRAZY!!!! So hopefully this Word update is a sign of things to come.
