Download the iTunes U app to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. You’ll get a message to sync iTunes U courses across your devices.

The interface is the familiar bookshelf you get with the iBooks and Newsstand apps. Tap the message to subscribe to courses.

Now you can browse through all of the available courses by topic, university and other schools.

When you find a course you like, check out the description and materials included.

Most courses include videos, articles, notes and other materials you’ll have access to. This lets you download individual materials instead of an entire course if you don’t want it.

Another groovy feature is you can take notes at different time marks in video lectures.

If you want to continue your education without attending classes and taking out thousands of dollars of student loans, iTunes U is a great way to achieve your goals.
