Most people around the world are sufficient with their righty’ but occasionally you’ll run into a technology geek that refuses to conform.  Do you have any friends who are left-handed?  If you do it might be handy to know how to set up the computer for them incase they need to use it.

Step 1

Click the Start menu orb and Type mouse into the search box.  Next Click the program link titled Change mouse settings.

Step 2

At the top of the buttons tab Check the box labeled Switch primary and secondary mouse buttons.  The moment you check the box, the mouse will be switched.  Right-click will now function as left-click, and vice versa.  So, to exit this menu and Click OK you will actually need to do a Right-Click; of course for a lefty, a right-click is normal…

Step 3

Now all that is left to do is change the position of the mouse in relation to the keyboard.  For a lefty, you guessed it, the mouse should be to the left of the keyboard.

Done!

Now you are ready to invite all of your left-handed friends to come over to mooch share your awesome computer.  When you are ready to go back to the right-handed style, just uncheck the  mouse settings box from Step 2. More Photoshop articles please ;) Comment Name * Email *
