Windows 10 Redstone 5 Preview Build Improved Local Experience is a new section in Settings that allows you to override default region format settings for Calendar, First day of the week, Dates, Currency, and Time. In addition, Local Experience Packs are available for Microsoft Store apps to improve language quality displays. You can access it by heading to Settings > Time & Language > Region. There are also improved privacy settings for your device’s microphone, Windows Mixed Reality improvements, and more....
The Sets feature is a tabbed-windows experience that lets you group together different apps on your desktop. Think of it like having different tabs open in your browser, but for apps and File Explorer. It’s a nice way to organize and access a set of apps and makes it much easier to navigate between them and improve your workflow. Details on why it was removed and when it will come back have been vague....
This time, the apps getting a major update are Finance, Sports, News, Maps, and Travel. Microsoft Update Adobe Flash Player Fix (KB3132372) According to Microsoft, this update fixes vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 Version 1151 (November Update). The affected software includes Flash Player in IE 10 and IE 11 in Windows 8, 8.1, RT, Server 2012, and Windows 10 as well as Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. This week, the editors over at Apple chose the PAC-MAN Friends app as the Free app of the week for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. The free app has tilt control, retina support and 95 levels of play. The utility does require internet access as it compares your installed software to a database that Secunia maintains. The initial scan can take a while – I’ve seen it take an hour or more – but subsequent scans will be much faster. When the scan is finished, you’ll be presented with the results. I’ve noticed a few peculiarities, mostly around old programs leaving files in system directories. Secunia usually flags these as out of date programs....
