Windows 10 20H1 Preview Build 18995 This build is introducing Windows Hello PIN in Safe Mode. Booting into Safe Mode only launches the minimum files and drivers to get Windows and your system running. It’s a great troubleshooting tool. And with 18995 Microsoft is “adding Windows Hello PIN sign-in support to Safe mode, so that you no longer have to rely on your password when troubleshooting your device.” The Your Phone app is gaining new features including the Link to Windows, Phone Screen, and Battery Level Indicator....

Nokia CEO Steven Elop announced bringing its HERE maps to iOS pending Apple approval earlier this month. The app includes what you’d expect including search, map view, live traffic, public transportation and satellite view. You can share places with a tap, including location, how to get there via SMS or social networks. Another unique feature is voice-guided step by step walking navigations through parks and other pedestrian routes. Until Google gets its map app on iOS, this might be a good alternative....

Kids & Family Section Added to The Roku Channel In its announcement, Roku explains the new section “makes it easy for children and parents to find a great selection of tailored content available for free and through Premium Subscriptions available in one, easy-to-access destination.” The content will include shows, movies, and select live content.
