Microsoft today released Windows 10 20H1 Build 19023 to Insiders in the Fast ring. Today’s release follows last week’s build 19018, which included some improvements to Search and overall system fixes and improvements. Windows 10 Insider Build 20175 Today’s new build includes new features like improved pinned sites in Microsoft Edge. Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc explains: “Clicking a pinned site on the Taskbar will now show you all of the open tabs for that site across any of your Microsoft Edge windows, just like you’d expect for any app with multiple open windows.” In addition, there are new icons for Sticky Notes and the Snip & Sketch app via updates from the Microsoft Store....
Microsoft Retiring Internet Explorer 11 Next Year In a blog post today, Microsoft exec Sean Lyndersay notes the following: It’s worth noting that this doesn’t affect Windows 10 customers on the Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC). But consumer version will see an end to the support of IE 11. The so-called “IE Mode” supports older ActiveX controls and legacy sites, which some businesses actually use. Microsoft promises to support IE Mode in Edge at least through 2029....

One of the biggest bits of news is that there are two new Legend of Zelda games. One is an HD re-release of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. The game was originally made for the GameCube, and released in 2003. The other is a brand-new Zelda game, but no details were shared aside from it being vastly different from previous entries. Reset Windows Store If you run into a situation where an app installation hangs or fails to update, resetting the Windows Store’s cache is one of the first troubleshooting steps to take, and it often resolves the issue.
